The docudrama tells the story of Maria Teresa Olivia Hochberg von Pless, whose life was closely connected with Silesia. It is the only documentary film devoted to this historical figure and serves as a valuable educational resource, helping residents discover the secrets of Lower Silesia. The film was shot at Książ Castle, in Szczawno-Zdrój, Świebodzice, and the Castle Museum in Pszczyna. Most of the cast were residents of Lower Silesia selected through open auditions. The role of Dolly, the narrator and friend of the titular Daisy, was played by Aldona Struzik, an actress from the Polish Theatre in Wrocław.
